On Pi Day, i.e., on 14 March 2025, the doctoral defense of Weronika Nitka was held at the Faculty of Management. If all goes well, next Tuesday the Management and Quality Sciences Discipline Council will award her a doctoral degree 👩🎓 with a distinction 🏆 on the basis of the dissertation entitled Decision support for electricity market participants: point and probabilistic forecasting using resampling methods and statistical learning. Congrats to Weronika, the supervisor Rafał Weron and the auxiliary supervisor Katarzyna Maciejowska!
