In December 2024, Katarzyna Maciejowska, Weronika Nitka and RafaÅ‚ Weron from our Department visited the Land Down Under 🦘. They attended two conferences in Sydney 🇦🇺 – the Energy Finance Christmas Workshop (EFC24) and the Quantitative Methods in Finance (QMF24) – and gave inaugural talks at the Energy Transition Center, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane 🇦🇺. While the trip was attractive for more than just scientific reasons 😉 … not all of them are signing up for another 30+ hour trip 🥴
