On October 14-15, 2025, the final of the 🇪🇺 REGIOSTARS Awards 2025 took place in Brussels. One of the three judges in the A Connected Europe category was Rafał Weron, who presented the award to the winners – the MONOCAB OWL 🇩🇪 team; on stage with Themis Christophidou, Director-General of the European Commission’s Regional and Urban Policy department.
REGIOSTARS has been organized annually by DG REGIO since 2008. Over the years, it has become Europe’s label of excellence for EU-funded projects that demonstrate the impact and inclusivity of regional development.
