During the Departmental Workshop held on October 2, 2021:
- Rafał Weron presented a summary of our publications and grants (in the context of the upcoming evaluation of the NZJ discipline) and discussed the dangers of publishing in predatory journals … or in journals suspected of being predatory.
- Our new staff members – Elżbieta Jasińska and Zbigniew Michna – discussed their research and teaching experience.
- We said farewell to our retirees – Barbara Gładysz and Edward Radosiński. We did not do without Ed’s lecture and farewell gifts 😉
