On Pi Day, i.e., on 14 March 2025, the doctoral defense of Weronika Nitka was held at the Faculty of Management. Four days later the Management and Quality Sciences Discipline Council awarded her a doctoral degree 👩🎓 with a distinction 🏆 on the basis of the dissertation entitled Decision support for electricity market participants: point and probabilistic forecasting using resampling methods and statistical learning. Congrats to Weronika, the supervisor Rafał Weron and the auxiliary supervisor Katarzyna Maciejowska!
