During the PWr Day, awards and distinctions were traditionally presented to the scientists:
- The Stefan Chanas Special Scientific Award of the Rector – Adam Kasperski
- Rector’s Scientific Scholarship in the category of publication activity – Anna Kowalska-Pyzalska
This coincided with the announcement of other successes of our employees and students:
- First place among PWr employees in the latest edition of the prestigious TOP 2% ranking of the most cited scientists in the world – Rafał Weron
- The Jan Mozrzymas WCA Scholarship for interdisciplinary research – Bartosz Uniejewski
