In May 2026, Katarzyna Chęć completed a research internship at the School of Mathematics & Statistics, University of Glasgow 🇬🇧. Kasia stayed in Glasgow at the invitation of Prof. Jethro Browell, an expert in forecasting generation from renewable energy sources (RES). Kasia’s research focuses on point and probabilistic forecasting of fundamental variables for electricity price forecasting and decision-support in electricity markets.
Almost simultaneously, Bartosz Uniejewski completed a research internship at the Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London 🇬🇧. Bartek’s research aligns perfectly with the work of the Data-centric Design Engineering group led by Prof. Pierre Pinson, an expert in probabilistic energy forecasting.
Both research visits were funded by the NCN MAESTRO CrossFIT project.
