Specialization: computational economics, energy forecasting, innovation diffusion

With an M.Sc. in Quantitative Methods & Information Systems (Warsaw School of Economics, 2003), education in Mathematics (Warsaw University, 2002-2005) and a Ph.D. in Economics (European University Institute in Florence, 2010), she possesses valuable expertise on the interface of computational economics and mathematics. Her research interests include theory and applications of time series in economic modeling, energy forecasting, as well as innovation diffusion modeling. She has published in top tier journals (most notably in Energy Policy, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, International Journal of Forecasting and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control) and is an ad-hoc reviewer for a number of JCR listed journals. She was the recipient of a three-year CERGE-EI scholarship (Czech Republic, 2013-2016), an Investigator or Senior Investigator on two NCN (National Science Centre, Poland) funded projects, and currently is the Principal Investigator on an NCN SONATA grant.
